Toy Story 3 / Inception trailer
Inception Music Comparison
The Inception 'theme' is La Vie En Rose by Édith Piaf (the song they use for their musical 'trigger'), but slowed down...

The 20 Stupidest GI Joe Vehicles Ever
I posted this a long time ago, but I came across it recently and it's such a classic that I just had to repost.

Another strong contender in our “more dangerous to the pilot” category. This makes me wonder if anyone at Hasbro understands any properties of rocket exhaust other than "orange."

Happy 4th Of July!
I should have posted this last year on the 40th anniversary, but here it is for the 41st. Lou Gehrig gave his famous farewell speech 41 years ago on July 4, 1939 at Yankee Stadium.

MTV Unplugged: Phoenix
Phoenix played on MTV's Unplugged recently.
The French quartet said they were eager to take to the "Unplugged" stage and "play naked," noting that "the danger is a fantastic feeling." They opened with their single "Lisztomania," hammering out the song's driving keyboard parts on marimba and piano. They followed-up with the equally recognizable "1901," adding some more acoustic treats with tubular bells and an old pump organ. They also served up other crowd-pleasing favorites for like "Rome" and "Long Distance Call." The musicians then stripped their arrangements down to just vocals and guitar for a cover of Air's "Playground Love." It's safe to assume that almost everyone has heard at least one of these songs even if they didn't know they were listening to Phoenix, and they are sure to walk away diehard fans after watching this infectious Unplugged performance.
Here is their performance of "Long Distance Call".
And here are links to this and other songs.
